Claiborne, Kevin (b. 1989, Washington, D.C.) is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist based in Harlem, New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Science in Higher Education from Syracuse University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Columbia University. His work is held in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts Museum, Philadelphia.
Claiborne has had solo exhibitions at Sean Horton (Presents), OSMOS, and Thierry Goldberg Gallery in New York; The Print Center in Philadelphia; Public Service in Stockholm; and Sobering Galerie in Paris. He has participated in group exhibitions at the Lower East Side Printshop, Latchkey Gallery, The Clemente Center, Swivel Gallery, Phillips, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York; CulturalDC in Washington, D.C.; and the Architectural Ecologies Lab at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. His work has been featured in Artsy, OSMOS Magazine, Cultured Magazine, foam Magazine, and Bloomberg Businessweek, among others.
