Adam Lives in Theory is a series about the male form. About masculinity and the machinery of perception. It occupies the irregular space between truth, expression, and expectation — where the same gesture shifts along the spectrum of good and evil depending on the private dialogue of the viewer. In this series of nudes, I perform poses drawn from the gestures of daily life, always before a mirror.

The mirror is not incidental. It carries the memory of my father's shrine — an altar he would speak to, anoint with powders and materials, address as portal. As a child, I watched the mirror become a threshold to something transformative and unknown. That inheritance runs through this work. Adam exists between past, present, and future, moving through the motions of living, questioning everything. Nothing is certain.
