EDITIONS: Inheritance

Celebrate the release of BLACK COPPER’s September issue, Inheritance: Deconstructing Our Shared Histories, at an evening garden party rooted in art, community, and reflection. Held at the Maria Sola Community Greenspace in the South Bronx, this gathering brings together artists, readers, and cultural workers for curated bites, flowing drinks, music, live painting, and a special film screening under the open sky.

Inspired by the issue’s exploration of memory, identity, and lineage, the event invites guests to reflect on the stories we inherit, the histories we carry, and the futures we collectively imagine. Through conversation, performance, and creative exchange, The Garden Party transforms the release of Inheritance into a living experience—one grounded in community, reclamation, and shared possibility.
